SugarCRM makes it to the iPhone

SugarCRM has been accessible for a quite some time on mobile platforms,  but the all new iPhone interface hits the sweet spot between usability and functionality.

One of the interesting new features coming to SugarCRM 6.1 (in release candidate status at the writing of this article), is the new mobile interface for the iPhone. While SugarCRM has been accessible for the past few years from smart-phones, the interface has been quite generic and did not capitalise on features that smartphones bring in terms of simplicity and overall usability.

That has changed with version 6.1. The new iPhone interface resembles that of a native appication and gives iPhone users the familiar gesture driven experience that they have been used to.

The SugarCRM administrator can enable or disable access to any standard or custom module in SugarMobile, while the out-of-the-box configuration allows you access to:

  • Accounts
  • Accounts
  • Contacts
  • Calls
  • Meetings
  • Tasks
  • Opportunities
  • Leads
  • Cases
  • Employees

If you are already using SugarCRM, you can download and test drive the iPhone application from the iTunes Store. If you're not, and want to try out SugarCRM on your mobile, please contact our sales team so that they can help you get going with a demo.
